Our Vacation - Part 4

Welcome back for installment 4.

Today I start off with a clarification. For those of you who don't know the wife's name is Vicki (Vic).

I was not in any way or intentionally slighting her not using her name.

It was suggested I should name her in my story so from here on out the wife will have a name.

That done, let us begin.

As you can see from the previous and today's pictures, Oregon is God's country.

Not only is the ocean beautiful but the trees and all the lush greenery are as well.

We were particularly impressed with the moss growing on the tree limbs in some of the areas we visited.

Continuing on we are just cruising along the coast enjoying the scenery and headed to Lincoln City where we will spend the night close to the ocean.

In Lincoln City we will enjoy the sunset (sorry for the power lines in the picture).

Believe it or not the sunsets along the coast are so breathtaking we forgot to take pictures because we were so engrossed in the moment.

That is why the power lines are there. When we finally remembered to take a picture we were not staged where we needed to be for the shot.

We have been in Lincoln City before and are hoping a quaint little restaurant with the best food will still be there.

To our good fortune the Sip and Sand was still there and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Yes, of course the clam chowder is to die for.

Look at the time, unfortunately or fortunately however you look at it I have reached the end of another installment of our vacation. Please come back tomorrow for part 5.
