Fisher-Price Recalling 1 Million Toys

WASHINGTON - Toy-maker Fisher-Price is recalling 83 types of toys - including the popular Big Bird, Elmo, Dora and Diego characters - because their paint contains excessive amounts of lead.

The worldwide recall being announced Thursday involves 967,000 plastic preschool toys made by a Chinese vendor and sold in the United States between May and August. It is the latest in a wave of recalls that has heightened global concern about the safety of Chinese-made products.

Who knew - Big Bird, Elmo, Dora and Diego characters don't even look Chinese!!

I think I am going to buy a Chinese car so it will be recalled all the time and I will get a new one for free every month!!

Computer Electrocutes Sweaty Man

The man dies after his leg comes in contact with the innards of his personal computer.

Wu took the case off the outside of his PC to prevent it from overheating. For some unexplained reason, he was not running the air conditioner in his home, so he wasn't wearing that much clothing. At some point, his sweaty leg came in contact with his PC's innards and Wu was dealt the deadly jolt -- 380 volts right from his PC's power supply.

You are not supposed to work up a sweat when you are on the computer.

I would venture to say he was at a porn site!!
