Finally the NFL takes a stand!!
NFL Orders Vick to Stay Out of Camp
NEW YORK - Michael Vick was ordered by commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday to stay away from the Atlanta Falcons' training camp until the league reviews the dogfighting charges against him.
"While it is for the criminal justice system to determine your guilt or innocence, it is my responsibility as commissioner of the National Football League to determine whether your conduct, even if not criminal, nonetheless violated league policies, including the Personal Conduct Policy," Goodell said in a letter to the quarterback.
The NFL said Vick would still get his preseason pay and Goodell told the Falcons to withhold any disciplinary action of their own until the league's review was completed.

Nike Stops Vick in His Tracks
ATLANTA - Michael Vick's legal troubles prompted Nike on Thursday to suspend the release of its latest product line named after the Atlanta Falcons quarterback.
Nike has told retailers it will not release a fifth signature shoe, the Air Zoom Vick V, this summer.
Nike spokesman Dean Stoyer said the four shoe products and three shirts that currently bear Vick's name will remain in stores. Half hearted on Nike's part - keep making money on the current stuff but tell the public the new release is delayed. Big Deal Nike!!!
Michael Vick has endorsement deals with Nike and Rawlings. Let's be a friend to the dogs and contact these companies and let them know that you will not purchase their products until they remove Vick from all endorsement deals!!
Let's take it one step further.
The owner of the Atlanta Falcons, Arthur Blank has not moved on this situation as well. See the reprint of his letter:

A Message to our Fans:
We know you're anxious to hear more from us regarding the indictment of Michael Vick and its implications to the Falcons. Please be assured that we are working diligently on exploring our options and getting the right people involved in this situation.
This is an emotionally charged and complicated matter. There are a wide range of interests and legal issues that need to be carefully considered as we move ahead, including our need to respect the due process that Michael is entitled to. Also, this situation affects everyone - our club, our players and associates, our sponsors, our fans and the Atlanta community among them - so we must consider all of our customers in making any decisions.
Given the differing perspectives and strong feelings around this issue, we probably won't make everyone happy, but we are committed to doing the right thing. As the owner of this club that's, ultimately, my responsibility.
In the meantime, know that I'm saddened and distressed about this - not for myself, but for our fans and community who have been so loyal to us. We will do our very best to continue to earn your support.
Arthur M. Blank Owner & CEO

Time to boycott Home Depot and shop at Lowe's!!
Hitting sponsors and owners in the pocket is the best way to send a clear message.
Send them an e-mail letting them know your hard earned dollar will not be spent with them!!
That's it for this Tuesday. Forward this to your mailing list and get people fired up!!!!!!!
