What Sickness We Have in the World

Sickos, we got 'em.

There are great catches in baseball and neither of these two are them.

This whole family is a class act - right? Wrong!!

MRS. A-ROD IS A BRONX F-BOMBER
OBSCENE SHIRT SHOCKS STADIUM

ERROR! Cynthia Rodriguez’s shirt offers an obscene view to kids and others seated behind her at Yankee Stadium yesterday as she holds daughter Natasha on her lap.

Oh, no, she didn't!
Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez's long-suffering wife, Cynthia, may have finally flipped her pretty lid when she went to a game in The Bronx wearing a tight-fitting, white tank top bearing a foul message on the back: "F- - - you."

The obscene phrase was plainly visible to thousands of fans - including plenty of kids - as she, her 2-year-old daughter, Natasha, and an older woman took their seats in the players' family section of the House that Ruth Built.

"One father, was so embarrassed, he got up and left and took his son," who appeared to be about 10 years old, a fan said.

"I mean this kid was right in back of Cynthia - his nose must have been about 4 inches away from the words 'F- - - you.' "

Cynthia's shocking breach of stadium etiquette comes a month after she was publicly humiliated by her straying hubby's catting around the country and Canada with a busty, blond Las Vegas stripper and Playboy wannabe named Joslyn Noel Morse.

Wow I think I get it now. I see why A-Rod was tripping the light fandango with a busty, blond Las Vegas stripper.

They weren't in Vegas so what happens elsewhere is fair game.

They both are such a class(less) act!!

God works in mysterious ways and the Catholic faithful keep paying for the sins of the Fathers!!

LA Church to Pay $600M for Clergy Abuse

LOS ANGELES - The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles will settle its clergy abuse cases for at least $600 million, by far the largest payout in the church's sexual abuse scandal.

The archdiocese and its insurers will pay between $600 million and $650 million to about 500 plaintiffs - an average of $1.2 million to $1.3 million per person. The settlement also calls for the release of confidential priest personnel files after review by a judge assigned to oversee the litigation.

The settlements would push the total amount paid out by the U.S. church since 1950 to more than $2 billion, with about a quarter of that coming from the Los Angeles archdiocese.

The settlement would be the largest ever by a Roman Catholic archdiocese since the clergy sexual abuse scandal erupted in Boston in 2002. The largest payout so far has been by the Diocese of Orange, Calif., in 2004, for $100 million.

Facing a flood of abuse claims, five dioceses - Tucson, Ariz.; Spokane, Wash.; Portland, Ore.; Davenport, Iowa, and San Diego - sought bankruptcy protection.

The Los Angeles archdiocese, its insurers and various Roman Catholic orders have paid more than $114 million to settle 86 claims so far.

The largest of those came in December, when the archdiocese reached a $60 million settlement with 45 people whose claims dated from before the mid-1950s and after 1987 - periods when it had little or no sexual abuse insurance. Several religious orders in California have also reached multimillion-dollar settlements in recent months, including the Carmelites, the Franciscans and the Jesuits.

However, more than 500 other lawsuits against the archdiocese had remained unresolved despite years of legal wrangling. Most of the outstanding lawsuits were generated by a 2002 state law that revoked for one year the statute of limitations for reporting sexual abuse.

Cardinal Roger Mahony recently told parishioners in an open letter that the archdiocese was selling its high-rise administrative building and considering the sale of about 50 other nonessential church properties to raise funds for a settlement.

So the church has to sell a few nonessential church properties and a high-rise administrative building to raise funds.

I really feel bad for the church having to sell nonessential tax-free buildings purchased with parishioners' donations.

I don't know how many articles I have posted on here about the church's "Dirty Little Secret."

But all is well in the Catholic church because the Pope has spoken and said the services can return to using the Latin language.

That has held a more important role to him than Clergy Abuse. But why not, all the other Popes have hidden this!!

Based on the number of priests that are active pedophiles, there is no way the Popes wouldn't know!!

So like when a Priest goes into the confessional and says, "Bless me Father for I have sinned," I wonder, does the other Priest in the confessional immediately say "You did what? Let's compare notes."

For me this puts a whole new spin on the movie Boys Town starring Spencer Tracy as Father Edward J. Flanagan.

Maybe Father Flanagan had an ulterior motive, ya think?

OK I suspect I have offended enough church-going baseball fans for today. Come back again for much more of a lot less!!!
