Car Salesman Accused of Machete Attack
TYLER, Texas - A 73-year-old used car salesman allegedly ended an argument with a customer by pulling out a machete and whacking the man's arm, according to police.
Robert Parker was arrested Monday night on charges of aggravated assault after the incident.
According to police, Gerald Davis had purchased a car from Time Auto Sales and went back to the dealership to pick up his license plates. Police said Davis, 53, and Parker began arguing and eventually Parker produced the machete.
Police said they don't know what the argument was about.
Davis was treated for the wound, but police didn't provide details on the seriousness of the injury.
You want a price cut? I'll show you a cut!!
A 73-year-old used car salesman whacks a guy with a machete - I would say anger management would be in order when he gets out of jail.
Machetes and swords must be a more popular choice of weapons than I thought!
Man brings sword to gunfight
ALBUQUERQUE -- A shooting victim is in critical condition this morning after being shot in a supermarket parking lot.
Witnesses said the fight broke out Monday night between a man with a samurai sword and another man who had a gun.
Emergency personnel were called to the Albertsons at Eubank and Candelaria NE after a man staggered in with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Witnesses described the scene in the parking lot as being like something out of a movie.
They said two men were in a heated argument with another man, and for a moment it appeared that all three were ready to leave. Then events moved quickly and got scary fast.
“The victim pulled out that sword, and then the guy in the white shirt whipped out the revolver and shot him,” witness Erin Hurst said.
“I heard a loud pop,” added Kris Wagner. “I looked behind me toward the Albertson's store and there was single-cab, shortbed, two-tone, F-150 pickup that was racing up behind me as I was trying to exit the Eastdale parking lot to get back to Eubank.
“I tried to block him in because I thought that was odd.”
Police said the man was able to make it inside the store before calling for help. He was taken to a hospital and rushed into surgery.
Anger management but this guy needs anti-stupid pills as well. Everyone knows you don't take a knife to a gun fight no matter the size of the knife!!!!
Just a little nibble if you please!
Enraged Passenger Bites Airport Worker's Earlobe
ROME - An Italian musician who could not board his flight because of overbooking was so enraged that he assaulted a Turin airport worker and almost bit his ear off.
An airport spokesman said on Tuesday that 41-year-old Raffaele Artesi had been due to fly to Naples with his band on Monday for a news conference to present a new tour.
But only six of the band's 11 members boarded the Alitalia plane, with Artesi and the others stranded in the northern city of Turin.
A row with airport workers ensued. Artesi was arrested for the attack on Davide Ruzza, whose left ear lobe was left dangling after being almost bitten off.
"After 16 years, I will certainly change jobs Ruzza said from the hospital.
"I don't want to risk my life for an overbooking."
Another worker was slapped and punched by band members including Artesi's brother and sister.
May I have your attention please, would anyone give up their seat for a bag of peanuts?
Now here is a whole group that qualifies for anger management!!!!
I wonder if he patterns himself after Mike Tyson and likes to bite ears??

Angry Shopkeeper Uses Forklift on Car
MAHOPAC, N.Y. - A shopkeeper got so angry about the way a man had parked his car that he climbed into a forklift, placed the fork under the car and lifted it off the ground, police said Wednesday.
Wasek Safrah, 51, of Ossining, also punched out both the offending car and the man who parked it, said Lt. Brian Karst of the Carmel police. He was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and assault.
Karst said the episode began at a strip mall on Route 6 in Mahopac. Safrah felt the car, though legally parked, was blocking his access to a storage container or trash bin and got into a heated argument with the driver, who was an employee of another store and was no longer in the car. Police did not release that man's name.
The police report, issued Tuesday night, says Safrah then punched the side of the vehicle, denting it. Then he took the controls of a forklift in the parking lot, maneuvered its lifting mechanism under the car and lifted it upward. The car was not moved out of the parking spot, however.
"We don't know what his intention was," Karst said.
Karst said he did not know who owned the forklift, but it probably belonged to another of the businesses.
After lifting the car, Safrah allegedly punched the driver in the mouth. The victim was injured but not seriously, Karst said.

Wow, there are a lot of really angry people out there!! The guy takes his machete to work with him???
What's all this crap about anger management and NY? Everyone in the world has been angry at one time or another. Guy with fork lift. Maybe, just maybe, this mild mannered guy just plain HAD IT with inconsiderate drivers. Okay, he went overboard and lifted a car with a forklift, granted. But hey, ya'll shouldn't suggest "anger management class" until to know the whole story.
