Is This the Twilight Zone?
Monday Monday
If you read my blog on 10-19-06 you saw the article about Steve Wynn.
Picasso’s famed “Dream” painting turned into a nightmare for Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn when he accidentally poked a hole in the multimillion dollar canvas artwork with an elbow.
Bill Clinton read my blog and fearing the worst, rushed to the gallery to inspect the painting.

It had to be explained to Bill it was Picasso’s “Dream” they were talking about and not his.
Teen Faces Litter Charge for Bra Antenna
TOLEDO, Ohio - A teenager who put her bra on a car antenna before it flew off and led to a highway accident will be charged with littering, a prosecutor said. Emily Davis, 17, of Bowling Green, told investigators she took her bra off while her friend was driving on Interstate 75.
James Campbell, who was driving behind the girls, said he swerved to avoid the bra and his car flipped several times. Campbell, 37, broke a vertebra in his neck during the accident. His passenger, Jeff Long, 40, broke several ribs.
A State Highway Patrol crash report, obtained by The Blade, said that the girls told investigators that before the accident the men were motioning to them to lift up their shirts. Both men denied making the gestures.
Davis will be charged next week with misdemeanor littering, said Tim Atkins, a juvenile prosecutor in Wood County. Atkins said he'll meet with troopers before filing the charge.
The girl's friend, Tabitha Adams, 17, of Bowling Green, said she told Davis not to hang her bra outside because she knew it would fly away, according to the report.
I think the real boobs in this story flipped their car several times!!
Driver Follows Navigation System Into Sand Pile
BERLIN - An 80-year-old German motorist obediently following his navigation system ignored a motorway "closed for construction" sign and crashed his Mercedes into a pile of sand further down the road, police said Monday.
"The driver was following the orders from his navigation system and even though there was a sufficient number of warnings and barricades, he continued his journey into the construction site."
"His trip finally ended when he wound up crashing into a pile of sand."
The driver and his wife escaped uninjured from the collision, which occurred on a motorway near Hamburg.
See, who says men don't know how to follow instructions?
The wife was probably nagging at him to stop and get directions which men don't know how to do for sure!!
Man accused of letting wife drive van over cliff
Wife, who had been suicidal, died in crash but couple's daughters survived
STONY POINT, N.Y. - A man accused of allowing his wife to drive off a 300-foot cliff with their daughters in the family minivan was indicted Thursday on charges of reckless endangerment, promoting a suicide and endangering children.
Victor Han, of New York City, had pleaded not guilty to the same charges after his arrest in June. He did not enter a plea Thursday.
Authorities said Hejin Han, 35, drove the family’s Honda Odyssey off Bear Mountain, about 40 miles north of the city, just after her husband stepped outside the minivan. She was killed, but the children, 5 and 3, survived without major injury.
At the time, authorities alleged that Victor Han, an architect, drove the family to a scenic overlook, knowing his wife planned to kill herself. He was accused of getting out of the van and walking away while his wife got behind the wheel and drove over the edge.
In a deposition, Han acknowledged that he worried his wife was suicidal. But he said he got out of the van to take pictures and when he saw the vehicle moving he tried to stop it. He said that he called 911, ran down the embankment and rescued their daughters but that he could not revive his wife.
The bad thing about this story is the kids were involved.
The other explanation is she could have been following the orders from the navigation system.
Him hollering "you go girl" might have been a little "overkill."
Have you ever had a bad hair day?
When bad hairpieces attack!
Lawsuit claims ill-fitting, mismatched toupee led to man’s heart attack
MILFORD, Conn. - A man who claims he had a heart attack during a dispute over an ill-fitting hairpiece that didn't match his hair color is suing the wig shop.
Paul Lewis claims he suffered a heart attack after refusing to pay for the hairpiece that was not only the wrong size but also the wrong color. He is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.
Lewis filed a counter lawsuit in Superior Court after Paula's Wig Boutique of Orange filed a small claims action seeking $1,200 in payment for the hairpiece.
Lewis claims he fell ill in December 2004 after Paula Wood, the owner of the wig shop, threatened to call police because he refused to pay, according to court records.
Lewis told the Connecticut Post that Wood sold him the hairpiece in a darkened room and he didn't realize it was the wrong color until later. He said he put a stop payment on a check he issued to the shop.
Wood said she has no idea why Lewis suffered a heart attack over the incident and added that he was so happy with the hairpiece when he left the shop that he "hugged me and thanked me."
She added that her shop is brightly lit and Lewis left with the hairpiece during the day.
Could it be that as he saw oncoming people looking at his hair and smiling he figured he was impressing them with how suave he was and he got a big head?
Thus, the hairpiece was too small?
So goes the start of another week. When the traffic is bad, the people are unfriendly, and the work is hard, remember relief is but a click away at http://wags-blog.blogspot.com/
