The Vacation - Part 2

In the old days in Las Vegas there was a Henderson car commercial that ran on television that said "Drive a little, save a lot."

Oregon has no sales tax so we figured we would drive a lot to save a little. From Redding we were off to Medford, OR.

We found their mall and were off in search of everything we don't need but could buy without paying sales tax.

In addition to the mall we also found other stores to shop at. At this point for Vicki, seeing the boys in Reno and shopping in Medford tax free, even if we did nothing else, the vacation was already a success.


However, the ocean and trees were calling, so from Medford we were off to Crescent City, CA.





This was the view across from our motel room. We had found the ocean.
