The Vacation - Part 1

I know the book says not to bore people with what you do or what you eat. But this is my blog so I am going to talk about this year's vacation.

I think most people will enjoy the pictures if nothing else.

Last year it was about planes with the ocean thrown in. This year it is about trains and automobiles with the ocean and huge trees thrown in.

In October the crowds are down and the hotel rates are lower, but you never know what you will get with the weather.

Our second day out of Las Vegas and we were treated to snow on our way from Bishop, CA, to Reno to see the boys.



Reno proved to be cold so we were off to Sacramento to check out the trains.








Sacramento weather was perfect as were the trains. The sad part is my pictures turned out dark.

From there we made it to Redding, CA.
