Planet-hunters say they have detected a giant world that is nestled among four others in a planetary system 41 light-years from Earth. This newfound world is in the "Goldilocks zone" - a place that's not too hot, not too cold, but just right for the existence of liquid water and conceivably life.

OK at today's price do you have any idea what it will cost you in gasoline to take a vacation here?

405,000 toys recalled in latest lead paint scare

Cars were made in China, no illnesses have been reported yet

More than 405,000 children’s products made in China, most of them toy cars, were recalled Wednesday for containing dangerous levels of lead, a government safety group announced.

The recall includes about 380,000 Pull-Back Action Toy Cars, 7,500 Dragster and Funny Car toys, the Duck Family Collectable Wind-Up Toy, Dizzy Ducks Music Box, “Robot 2000” collectable tin robot and Winnie-the-Pooh Spinning Top.

Chinese-made beads for children metabolize into GHB when ingested

WASHINGTON - Millions of Chinese-made children's toys have been pulled from shelves in North America and Australia after scientists found it contained a chemical that converts into a powerful "date rape" drug when ingested.

The toy goes by the name Aqua Dots, which are distributed by Spin Master Toys based in Toronto.

The beads are sold in general merchandise stores for use in arts and crafts projects. They can be arranged into designs and fuse together when sprayed with water.

Scientists say the beads contain a chemical that the human body metabolizes into the so-called date rape drug Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate. When eaten, the compound — made from common and easily available ingredients — can induce unconsciousness, seizures, drowsiness, coma and death.

Wow no Aqua Dots either. I bet I get a pair of socks to go with the shirt!!

Hey, what ever happened to the days when either your charm, money or a six pack of beer got you sex?

Woman told to ditch bra to enter court

Underwire supports of garment had set off alarm at federal facility

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Security guards refused to allow a woman into a federal courthouse until she removed a bra that triggered a metal detector.

"I asked if I could go into the bathroom because they didn't have a privacy screen and no women security officers were available," Plato said Wednesday. "They said, 'No.'

Well of course they said no. Well no duh!!!!!!

The security guards were later interviewed and they said it appeared to them she was carrying two loaded 38's.

City changes course after groups complain about packaging of prophylactics

As many as 70,000 condoms given away in a citywide campaign were returned this week. Another 100,000 condoms were returned in early September because of complaints their paper packaging can be easily damaged and could make the condoms ineffective.

City health officials agreed that complaints about the packaging were damaging to their citywide distribution campaign, but they have insisted the condoms were safe. They said this week they will distribute brand-name substitutes.

Wait about 9 months and see how many law suits are filed against the City and see how safe they were!!
